Travel to Big Island

We awaked early in the morning, maybe three o'clock. But I was so tired that I didn't get up and stayed in the bed until six o'clock.
The weather was fine and I could see Mt. Mauna Kea clearly from my room. Mt. Mauna Kea is 4205m high and there are three white buildings at the top of the mountain I could see. My wife and I went to the swimming pool of the hotel and swam there for one and half hours. There were several people in the poolside.
I didn't decide where to go before I left my home. I was thinking where we would go and then we decided to go to the Rainbow Falls and the Akaka Falls. The Rainbow Falls is located near the town of Hilo. It took only 20 minutes from hotel by car.
The Rainbow Falls height is about 15m, but a lot of water falls from the cliff. The guidebook describes that we can sometimes see the rainbow in the morning, but unfortunately we missed it. After visiting the Rainbow Falls, we visited the Akaka Falls which is located 30miles north of Hilo town. About 10 minutes walk from the parking lot reached the Akaka Falls which has 150m height. The scenic spot is far from the Falls, but we could see the whole Falls in the forest. The trail gives us another falls and it took about 25 minutes walk totally. I felt very comfortable walking in the forest.
We also visited the tropical botanical garden on the way to Hilo from the Akaka Falls. It was difficult to find the entrance of the garden from route 19, because there is no sign board in the route 19. So I read the guidebook of Hawaii Island and I took the scenic road which is narrow and passes near the ocean. It took about 15 minutes from the entrance of scenic road.
On the way to the garden on the scenic road, there were several cars parked. I wanted to know why there were many cars parked in the narrow road. We could see beautiful scenery of the ocean from the road. The botanical garden gave us many tropical plants and scenic views including the ocean view. I took many pictures of many flowers which I have never seen before.
I took a dinner at the hotel restaurant at 5:30pm and the hotel restaurant was already crowded. The restaurant is a buffet style restaurant and reasonable. There was a sashimi of tuna.
