We could have a good sleep and got up before the sun rise. I could have fresh and cool air. I felt very happy.
My wife and I took a walk along the beach. We had breakfast at the restaurant in a hotel. It was buffet style. Off season and late morning, but I was surprised that there were many people who were eating in a restaurant. I was so surprised that I saw many people and almost all the seats were occupied.
We left for Yanbaru Forest Park and see the natural life of the northern part of the Okinawa Island. The weather was getting better and we visited the Kerama Island and the Kouri Island which was accessible from the main Okinawa Island by the new bridge last year.
There was a very beautiful beach and this place was newly developed sight seeing place. There were many buses and cars parked near the bridge. It was easy to access to the beach. The temperature was about 25 degree and I had sun tanned. It was very hot and walking along the beach. After that, we went to the Nakijin castle.
I saw the cherry blossoms whose color was pink looked like plum flower. This used to be a big castle because there were many castle stones in the wide area.
As we felt hungry, we dropped in a public restaurant in the Motobu town and ate Gohya chample and Okinawa Soba. We ate too much and then went up to the top of Mt.Yaeyama which is over 800m high, but it was easy to access by a car. This place is famous for the cherry blossoms, but the cherry blossoms were over and we could not see them. On the way to the hotel, we saw the sign board Ohya restaurant which was introduced by the TV program Ohsama-no-Branch recently.
There were many people visited and had lunch at the very old house built during Meiji Era.
We arrived at the hotel Resonex Nago just after 15:00. The location was very good and we felt our room standing in a beach. We could see very beautiful scenery and were satisfied with the scenery.
We walked along the beach and went to the town near the hotel. We could find a small store and bought a bottle of Awamori, beer and soft drink. After we returned and took a rest, we ate dinner at a restaurant in a hotel. We could see the beautiful sun set from the restaurant, so I took pictures. We had drinking party with Awamori Kumesen and talked about our travel.
We went to bed earlier than usual.
